EA revealed the first official footage of Battlefield 4 as a Video on YouTube. It´s a 17 minutes clip from the game’s campaign:
I did wonder about the music they choosed. You can hear “Bonnie Tyler – Total Eclipse of the Heart” at the beginning of the video. What is your opinion about the video?
My Cat likes to sleep near me in the Bedlinen on the Couch when I do lie there because I want to have it cozy while I watch TV. She often lies near me then because she wants to cuddle. But soon after she purrs, she will fall asleep. I made three short Videos in a Moment she just woken up near me. I did stroke her then and was playing with her Paws and Claws. She likes that but she maybe thought the Camera or my Smartphone was annoying

I found two Animals in an Animal Park in Mölln some time ago. I thought they were European Otter but a Person who is working in an Animal Park told me much, and was correcting me that these two Animals are called American Minks. But both Animals are in the Family of Martens. Here is the old Blogpost with the Video which I had to correct. In the Blogpost is also more Info about the Correction.
Boraras brigittae or also called Mosquito Rasbora is a pretty cute and tiny Fish. Boraras brigittae´s are great for smaller Fish Tanks because they are so little. They wont grow bigger then 3 cm. That´s maybe why some People call them “Nano Fishes”. I like them so much. I think I have at the moment 18 Boraras brigittae in my smaller 60 Liters Fish Tank.
Today I did throw some Food in the Tank which sunk to the Ground. I made a Video with my new Sony Xperia P Smartphone. I had the Idea to test the HD Camera. I think the Quality is not so bad for a Phone Camera. The Boraras brigittae´s are searching the Ground for the Food. Look how funny they are. Some of the Fish Food Grains are really big for the Boraras brigittae´s but they dont really care. These little Friends take a bite anyway and shred the Grains on this way, so that they can eat the smaller Pieces then.
In the Evening I often like to be near my Fish Tank so that I can observe the Boraras brigittae´s. They give me a great Pleasure. Hope you will enjoy the Video too.

I think this Cinematic of the upcoming World of Warcraft Expansion called Mists of Pandaria is pretty funny. Maybe not my favorite Cinematic of all released World of Warcraft Expensions but still funny enough to enjoy. I know the Trailer is already some time out but I just wanted to post the Cinematic here as well as I´v seen the Trailer yesterday when I first logged in to the Beta of Mists of Pandaria. But I maybe tell you later why and how I got Beta Access.

Today I did read in a German Games Magazin called 4players that Paradox Interactive announced Europa Universalis 4 officially. The Global Strategy Game and Sequel of Europa Universalis 3 will be released in the third Quarter of 2013. The Game will be developed by the Paradox Development Studio. Europa Universalis IV will be basically oriented on Europa Universalis III and it´s Extansions and Addons.
Paradox Interactive wants to stamp out some basic Weak Spots of the Forerunner EU3. In EU3 they want to improve the Trade System and Trade Routes. It might be that they add Ruler and Monarch Features like in Crusader Kings 2. But the command of the own choosed Country will be still in the Foreground. Military and Diplomacy will be improved and advanced. Same goes for the Clausewitz-Engine which will be improved with more Details both for the Map and Units.
Accessibility and Usability of the Menus will be imrpoved as well. The Multiplayer-Mode gets a hot-join-Function, Matchmaking, a better Chat and a Standalone Server Support.
As always the Game will be modifiable like most of Paradox Interactive Games. I think this is pretty Essential as the Paradox Community is full of creative People who love modding and improving a Game.
I pretty much loved Europa Universalis 3 and theirfor this Announcement is a big Thing for me and if you love these Paradox Games as well, you probably feel the same!

But it´s still some Time to wait for EU4.
I pretty much dislike those new Cross-platform First-Person Shooter Games as I think they are designed to serve all the differend Players on each Platform to generate higher Revenue for the Publisher.
What I´ve seen so far is that at least in my Circle of Friendsm People stopped to play First-Person Shooter since they are designed Cross-platform. Most of them and me thought that these Playstation and Xbox Games are somewhat more soft-boiled then PC Games. I also noticed that many People start to hate the Cross-platform Engines as it often feels spongily in the Gameplay. This is called “Character Responsiveness” and means how “smooth” the Game plays from your Avatars Perspective. It is not an FPS Issue. It´s simply that many new Games favorable Cross-platform Games feel like they are designed only for Game Consoles. These Games often feel like if they would be designed for People who use a Control Pad only. On the Keyword and Mouse it feels spongily. But this is not only a Phenomenon of latest Cross-platform First-Person Shooter Games. It´s was lately seen in many bad MMO Engines as well, for example SWTOR which is a Game for PC only. SWTOR had real “Character Responsiveness” Problems.
I just mention all that because I was somewhat disappointed of many Engines in the past and I talked about it with my Friends many Times and a lot of them did agree.
However. I should also mention that there is a lot of Progress in the elegancy of the latest Graphics of all these Games. Everything I write are subjective Thoughts. So I am often disappointed how the new Games play while I think the Graphics get more and more Cinematic and cool.
So even if I have my own Standpoint and would rarely buy a Cross-platform Game, I dont stop to inform myself about these new Games. Today I found this new and quite cool Crysis 3 CryEngine 3 Tech Trailer which I enjoyed:
I like the Tech Trailer, however Graphics would not convince me to buy a Game anymore. Lately I noticed myself looking on other Features as well. But I must also admit that I anyway played more World of Warcraft in the Past and if not WoW, then probably rather Strategy Games then any First-Person Shooter. I think the last FPS Games I played were Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142. Battlefield 3 Beta was disappointing in my Opion and showed me that I am out of this Genre. These Games simply changed a lot which is ok if you enjoy it. I know a lot of People who still enjoy them. But I dont anymore. Maybe I get older and eager and hate to much Changes. But if so, then it´s how it is. Some Friends feel the same. I am just amazed about the cool and fresh new cinematic Graphics of the new Games and Engines. But this alone cant bring me back.. if anything can then it is the good old Gameplay and smooth Character Responsiveness from the past. I really would prefer Games which would be specially designed only for the PC Platform and Hardware.. specially designed for that Audience while the Games Consoles should get their own Titles. I still think that both Target Groups are pretty much differend and theirfor demand differend Stuff from a Developer.
Anyway I enjoyed the CryEngine 3 Tech Trailer when we talk about the Graphics.

I thought it´s time to share a Song I was working on the last Week. I sometimes just have an Idea of a Rythm and record it so that I can play a Guitar Solo over the whole Material then. Later on I make some Post Production and Mastering with Ableton Live. This is my own idea of a Song I had this week.
I love to improve playing Guitar Solos and the best way to do it is just record a Rythm and play a Solo over it until you are happy with the Result.
The Song was recorded and edited with Ableton Live and as VST I used Native Instruments Guitar Rig 5 the Virtual Software Effect Processor with some customized Guitar Effects. For the Drums I used Superior Drummer. I also used the Ableton Live Fade to Grey Effect here and there in Post Production. I also recorded two seperat Videos while playing Rythm and later when I played the Solo, so that I was able to edit them with the Song together in Magix Video Deluxe 15.
I pretty much enjoy playing Guitar and I do so since many Years. It´s sometimes really so that I do get tons of Ideas I want to play on Guitar. IT´s like an Earworm of a Melody I need to try on Guitar, and then I just do it. That´s how Ideas are born. I can get pretty much inspired by anything. For me.. Music is defenetly Art I can enjoy. It´s about having fun and it´s relaxing. That´s my Philosophy. This Hobby entertains me so much.
We took a Video of these cute and funny little american Minks in a german Animal Park. Looks like they were playing and washing. American Minks are also present in Europe today and not only in Animal Parks. But anyway it was fun to see these little Friends in the Animal Park. I guess they had fun while playing and washing.
Nature and Animals are pretty interesting Topics in my Opinion. By the way.. the Husband of my Mother was talking sometimes in the Background of the Video. I hope you will enjoy the Video anyway. I am pretty happy that we took this Video so that I can show you these cute Animals.
By the way. I did upload the Video under the Name and Description of the Animal called Common Otter or European Otter but someone who is working in an Animal Park was correcting me fortunately. European Otter and american Minks are both from the Family of Martens or Weasel Family. However there seems to be a difference.
He told me that the american Minks are much more agile like you can see in my Video. And Otter are more calm Friends. The Common Otter also called Euroasian Otter can grow 90 – 120 cm while the american Minks does not grow bigger then 30 – 40 cm. Also the European Otter has a wider Face then the american Mink.
I am not an expert on that Area but that all seems to be logic for me and I just can thank the Person who told me a lot about the difference. Theirfore I was able to correct the Video Description and Title.
This is a Video of a pregnant Red Fire Schrimp with Eggs under her Body. I made this Video two Days ago. She supplies her Eggs with her little fins with fresh Water. This is very important for the Eggs and it is one of the last Steps before hatching little new Schrimps. You also notice that she is eating at the Moment I took the Video.
