The Calmness In A Small Town

This is another post of the category advantages of a small town, and about myself. When I am in a bigger city, for example in my home town, I would never ever eat my breakfast in a bakery or coffee shop, I usually prefer to have my breakfast at home, and if that is not possible, I would rather eat my breakfast on my way. I don’t suffer from claustrophobia, but to be honest, the term is still perfect to explain the feelings I get if I am in a totally crowded room. That is however much different in the … Continue reading The Calmness In A Small Town

Weekly Photo Challenge: Vibrant

The theme of the recent WordPress Photo Challenge is about vibrant colors. I thought I would participate with a photo of a salad. I do not only like to eat salads, I do also like the colors of salads. I do usually add tomato, cucumber, lettuce and paprika to my salads, that means there are at least two vibrant colors, red and green, unless I add a paprika with a different colour like green or yellow. Blackbird 300mm Test Photo Under Bad Conditions

Above you can see a cropped image of a 300mm test shot I did take under bad weather conditions with my new 70-300mm Tamron lens. It was pretty cloudy, the ISO was bumped up to 1600, which is why the image is grainy even after using the noise reduction tool in Lightroom. I went to one of the local tech stores in Lübeck and was happy that they allowed me to test the lens on my own D7100. To say it right away, I purchased the lens after using it for a while in the store. I researched about the pros and cons of this lens, and gathered many important information’s, but sometimes reviews are very different and that can confuse you a lot. So, I had questions that I could only get answered by … Continue reading I Got The Tamron 70-300mm VC USD Tele Zoom Lens

Back to Lübeck

I drove back to Lübeck yesterday. There are a couple of reasons why I drove back. I have to manage some things for myself, mainly bureaucracy related. Then there is the problem that my aunt got the flu, and I really don’t want to get the flu too. I am usually pretty resistant against flu viruses, especially because I am often outside no matter the weather. Anyway, if someone else has it around you, there is the risk you will get it too. Yep, I am pretty paranoid about flu viruses and try to keep any risk out of my … Continue reading Back to Lübeck
