Here is a photo that I still had left over from last years shooting. It’s the dog of my cousin, and I must say her dog is very agile and playful. Great, because that allowed me to practice action photography. If you wonder about the person in the background, it’s the husband of my mother, equally agile as you can see (laugh). Obligatory “I Hate Hot Weather” Post


I think my obligatory “I hate hot weather” posts do shift to much earlier dates with each new year. Since I do sports again, I can take much hotter weather, but there is a limit. It’s not just about how warm it is, but also about other factors like humidity. But I am sure I wrote about this a ton of times. Thatched Roof


Above is a photo that I shot during a hike near the Wakenitz, a tributary of the Trave River. I like that area because it’s possible to find grey herons and other birds there, but I didn’t have a lot of luck in this area with my Tamron 70-300mm lens. But I still like to walk there, because it’s a beautiful area. So, on my way I found this large house with a thatched roof.
