Eurasian Blue Tit On A Tree

I thought I share a photo of the Eurasian Blue Tit bird again. I shot the winter sometime during the winter. I have no idea why I shot the photo at 1/2000 of a second, maybe because I was outside to take photos of flying birds? But even then the camera setting would have been too fast. I am unhappy with the camera settings that I saw in the metadata and I wish I would have used other settings. The photo is shot at 300mm and I cropped the image to get even closer. I like the composition that I … Continue reading Eurasian Blue Tit On A Tree

A Black Dog Photo

Here is a photo of a dog I met yesterday during my hike.  First I thought the dog would be lonely, but the dog owners were just 30 meters away and followed up. The dog seemed to know the path, and enjoyed to show the owners the way. Also it was funny to see how the dog did carry the stick on his path. In the case of my recent pigeon photo, I liked how the pigeon was sitting there lonely on the field. I started to enjoy bird photography, although I do think it can be very challenging if you want to take photos of special birds … Continue reading A Pigeon On A Field

Blackbird 300mm Test Photo Under Bad Conditions

Above you can see a cropped image of a 300mm test shot I did take under bad weather conditions with my new 70-300mm Tamron lens. It was pretty cloudy, the ISO was bumped up to 1600, which is why the image is grainy even after using the noise reduction tool in Lightroom. Of course, the cropping makes the high ISO more apparent, but without editing it looked worse. Below I will show you the image without crop, and after that I will show you the image without crop and without changes in Lightroom. As said, the image was shot at … Continue reading Blackbird 300mm Test Photo Under Bad Conditions
