Dandelion Close-Up

This close-up photo of a Dandelion plant wasn’t shot with a macro lens, I actually used my Tamron 70-300mm to take the photo. It’s a tele lens and the photo was shot at 300mm focal length, so, that’s basically what I’d call a pseudo-macro shot but it works too. I hope you like the photo. The plant is called Common Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale). By the way, by uploading the image I realized I photographed that plant already in 2014 and it’s funny when you find out how your photography changed with the years. Just A New Flower Photo

Today in the morning I found some flowers on my hike through the gardens. You can see one of them in the photo, they look like daisies but I am not really sure if they are. The flower you see in the photo does actually look smaller than I saw them in real. They were much bigger than a usual daisy, especially the stem was quite long with around 20 or 30 cm. Most daisies I saw in the past were pretty tiny, it seems this is a big one that is not so common here, I did at least … Continue reading Just A New Flower Photo

Small Wildflower

Above you can see a photo of a wildflower that I found on a lawn last summer. The flower looks quite big on the photo but it is really a small one. I am not sure how the flower is called. I just know it’s a beautiful flower. I am happy that the flower time starts soon, so that I can expand my collection of flower photos. In the meantime, I can still find enough flower photos in my folders and might upload some of them. Continue reading Small Wildflower

Common Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)

This beautiful yellow flower is very common here in Germany and you can find them everywhere and it´s a wildflower that you can find everywhere in the green grass and even between the street curbs. They are so prevalent that some even think that it is weed. The first thing you will notice on the grass is either a common dandelion or millions of daisies but I guess you can find them in a lot of places of the earth? I like both flower types as they … Continue reading Common Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
