VHS Cassettes, Chips and Salsa

Here is just a snapshot I took with my phone. I did spend quite a bit of time with my mother the last days as we went through several VHS cassettes that our family recorded. Meanwhile, we ate chips with salsa. We’ve been sad when we found out that some cassettes didn’t work anymore but maybe we will find a solution to recover them. But others worked. The Canoe Ready For A Tour

This is the borrowed canoe after we did put the boat into the water yesterday to start our canoe tour on the rivers in Salem and that was a lot of fun. The husband of my mother and me did use the canoe but my mother didn´t like to come with as she thought this boat would be quite unsteady but this is not true. Preparing the Rubber Raft

As said in Mom´s Birthday Blog Post, we planed a trip in the nature on the weekend. Yesterday on saturday we drove to Salem to visit Grandma and Grandpa on their campground so that we can again celebrate Mom´s Birthday with coffee and cake and barbecue later on. Asia Fastfood.. hmm tasty :)

Last Friday we drove to a shopping mile in Lübeck and we all were a little bit hungry. We saw a small asian takeaway and decided to buy something. I must mention that I am a really big fan of asia style food. My mom and her husband not so but they were suprised how tasty it was. We bought tasty noodles with chicken and spicy sauce. Maybe a Trip tommorow on a River with the Rubber Raft

Above you can see a Photo which my Mom took today while they were on a Rubber Raft on the Salemer River which I mentioned already here. However.
