For the beautiful paths series, here is another picture. I walked through an area outside of our city, the area is called Wüstenei in Badendorf. There is an old abandoned military base nearby but it’s closed and people are not allowed to enter the area. Only a few parts of it are still used by the police to do firing practice. Apart from that and the village Badendorf, the area is pretty deserted. But that is not bad because it also means it’s an area where you can find deer, birds and so on. Here is a snapshot I took a while ago when I hiked through the Schellbruch area. It’s a nature reserve in our city and a really beautiful place. As I mentioned in the past, this is also a nice area to take bird photos because there are lots of them each season. But in this case here, I shot the photo because sometimes I like the paths I walk. Here is a photo that I shot in Reinfeld in misty conditions. It’s probably a minimalist photo but what I liked about the scene was the green field and the green mound with the trees. I liked the shape of the landscape and how the trees have been a contrast to the misty background. It somehow also looked and was desolate as I was alone outside in the fields.
