Bridge in Black and White

Here is a photo of a bridge I shot in 2015. I am not completely happy with the framing as the ends of the bridge are cut too far, but I had to do it because there have been distracting tree stems on the side. I converted the photo to black and white because I thought it fits and because the colors in the original aren’t special. Old Water Tower

I spotted this old and abandoned water tower and thought I take a picture. I shot different photos, one from far away but I also wanted to experiment taking a picture being close. This photo was shot at 18mm with my 18-105mm Nikon kit lens. I like the textures of the brick stone and the rusty metal at the top. Continue reading Old Water Tower

St. Jakobi Church in Lübeck

As I mentioned often, we have quite a lot of churches in Lübeck, and other old architecture. As I mentioned too, I am not very religious, but I am still interested in architecture, especially old structures including churches. The church in the photo is called St. Jakobi church and was built in the year 1334. The church has the title “church of the seafarers” since the medieval.
