Forest Path

Some of you might know, I love taking photos of beautiful paths I discovered during hikes, and I already uploaded quite a few photos of paths. So, at the top is a new one. At least a freshly uploaded photo because I actually shot the photo back then in 2016. The photo was taken when I walked through a forest in Reinfeld. It was a calm place surrounded by beautiful nature. I already uploaded a similar photo here. Continue reading Forest Path

Dandelion Close-Up

This close-up photo of a Dandelion plant wasn’t shot with a macro lens, I actually used my Tamron 70-300mm to take the photo. It’s a tele lens and the photo was shot at 300mm focal length, so, that’s basically what I’d call a pseudo-macro shot but it works too. I hope you like the photo. The plant is called Common Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale). By the way, by uploading the image I realized I photographed that plant already in 2014 and it’s funny when you find out how your photography changed with the years. Old Cat Photo

Here is an old snapshot of my cat that I took back then with a potato camera of a very old smartphone. The light conditions haven’t been great and those old cameras couldn’t deal well in these situations. But as photography is also about memories, I really didn’t want to delete the photo. So, it gets a place on my blog too so that I have it stored online as well. Continue reading Old Cat Photo

Farmer’s Cat

This photo was shot in May 2016 when I was in Reinfeld. I saw this cat on a farm, which is why I thought it belonged to a farmer. I guess you will agree with me when I say the cat looks battle-scarred. It’s a dirty cat and it has open wounds. Maybe it got into fights with other cats or animals like foxes. Maybe it got infections too but one thing is sure, it appeared sick-looking. Continue reading Farmer’s Cat
