Daisies


Here is another shot with my 40mm lens. I already shot photos of daisies in the past, but I think it works much better with my 40mm lens now. It was a bit difficult to frame the shot but I don’t think the subjects always have to be completely in the frame. I liked the images as it came out of the camera, I just added a bit of clarity and sharpness. Apart from that I just made it a tiny bit brighter, that’s all. Fir Hedge Background


Still experimenting with my new 40mm lens. And I realized you can also take some photos with it that could work as a nice Windows background on my PC, or as a background on my mobile devices. What I did there with the image above was getting very close to a fir hedge, focussing in the front and having depth of field in the background. I like photos like this one and will probably take my own background images in the future. White Flower


Here is another photo taken with my new Nikon 40mm Micro lens. It’s some time ago since I shot my last flower photos, because most of my lenses don’t do it well. Minimum focus distance was not really a big thing with my old point-and-shoot camera nor with my smartphone, that’s why I shot many photos of flowers back then. Wild Goose Close-Up


Here is a photo that I shot yesterday. There is a pond in one of the parks and I found wild gooses and they came pretty close. So, I managed it to take some close-up photos. I also saw fledglings that I could photograph. I will upload these photos later or another day. I also had a bit of small talk with strangers who watches the birds too.
