Orange Cat
I did show you this orange cat already last year, but I found the two photos above and wanted to upload them as well. I find the orange fur beautiful, but you can maybe say it’s ginger or beige fur. … Continue reading Orange Cat

In case there are not enough cat photos on my blog yet, here is another one. I found this black last year during one of my hikes. I’d say it’s a black cat but if you look closer, you will find out that there is a brown or reddish tone in the fur as well. I did already upload another photo of the same cat some time ago. I don’t have a lot of black cats in this category yet, so, I hope I will find more of them during future hikes. Continue reading Black Out-Door Cat
Here is a photo of my cat Shyna again. She is quite bored this weeks since I can not play a lot with her due to my strain. But I tried to follow her and shot a photo in the floor, you really see her boredom. The boredom makes her unhappy, and at the moment she is grumpy and up for nonsense. I was bored too and loaded the image up in Lightroom and tried the free Nik Filter Collection. I used one of the Analog Efex Pro 2 filters from the filter collection and I like how it turned … Continue reading Bored Kitty
I took a photo of a cat in the city center. I walked through some of the side streets and heard a conversation of two people, one of them said “No, this is not our cat, but it’s basically our street guard and roams around here everyday”. I had my Nikon 50mm with me, and when the cat jumped on the junction box, I was glad that it did let me come closer to take this photo. I have a lot of photos of my cat Shyna on this blog, but I am also glad if I can add photos … Continue reading Street Owner
It’s raining outside and that means I don’t want to test my new 50mm lens outside yet. But I tested this lens already inside, especially at f/1.8 to get a nice blurry background or shallow depth of field. The problem is however that depth of field can become too shallow sometimes. Well, this is actually not a problem, it’s rather one of the reasons why I wanted to get this 50mm lens. What I meant is, that I do now have to get used to different aperture settings, or to be more exact to control this and to learn when … Continue reading Testing The 50mm Lens With My Cat
Life is so much better if you don’t have to wear a lampshade, that’s what Shyna probably thought when I removed it from her neck. But she did a good job, because she became used to the lampshade quickly, as same as she was ok with the daily rituals of applying an ointment to her wound. The wounds disappeared and the fur grew back, and it also seems that she doesn’t have itching anymore. So, let’s celebrate this with a new photo of my cat Shyna. We shot the photo yesterday, I saw her lying tired on the couch and … Continue reading Tired Kitty
