European Robin


Today I was hiking because we had sun and it looked a bit like spring. I didn’t take a lot of photos over the winter, instead I uploaded some that I shot previously. Winter can be great and there are some interesting subjects during this time as well, but this winter I was not in the mood to go outside with the camera very often. Lonely Robin


Here is a photo of a robin and it always looks like a backlit photograph. The bird and tree branches became so dark because my ISO was set too low for the cloudy day, but in this case I do really love the result, because as said, it looks like a backlight photograph. I expected it would be a robin bird, but to me sure I raised the shadow details for a moment and saw “Yep, it’s a robin” and decreased it again as I wanted to preserve the backlight effect. Another Robin


I posted already a Robin today, but I have another photo that I want to share. It’s because I saw several of them today, and I had a little bit of luck to get some decent shots. The days get brighter now that we start to see a little bit of sunshine. I hope to see even better lighting conditions soon, because I’d like to take some pictures with low ISO and less image noise. Curious Robin


Today was more sunshine, it’s not too dark anymore, but still a little bit cloudy. Anyway, I thought I go out for a short hike and to take some pictures.
