Reinfeld Nature in Black and White

I still have tons of photos of my time in Reinfeld. On the photo you see the large pond they have. It’s not a river, it’s really a pond. Once in a year they literally pull the plug and dry the pond out. No joke, they have small canals and water mills to do it. On that way they catch all the big fishes. That’s quite effective, huh? I’ve seen that with the smaller ponds surrounding it, but I’ve heard they do it with the large one too. I think it often happens in October. Continue reading Reinfeld Nature in Black and White

Germany Eliminated in FIFA World Cup

Yesterday was a very important match, Germany versus South Korea, because we needed the points to make it in this group. I don’t know why but somehow I thought the match would be at 8 PM. Shortly before that time I checked Google and realized they played already. How stupid is this? I missed the game. But more funny was that Google showed the match result right away “2 – 0”. But it seems I experimented back then too, … Continue reading Old Film Photo: A Police Car In Berlin

Street in Lübeck

Above you can see a small alley or street in the historic district of Lübeck. It’s the most interesting district in our city because there you can still find old construction styles. In other words, you find a lot of buildings with brick stone. First I wanted to upload the photo in color, but it was shot in JPG and the image contained overblown highlights so that I decided to convert it to black and white. But that’s not bad either, because I love black and white photos and it works with the photo above as well. Continue reading Street in Lübeck
