Busy Streets in the Evening


Here is a handheld photo I shot in the evening in Lübeck a while ago. I almost deleted the photo but I changed my mind when I converted the image to black and white. I did that because the colors were dull and the handheld shot was pretty blurry as you can see if you look at the cyclists. But that does somehow look good in black and white, because it’s like the movement of the cyclists becomes visible. I also like the lighting in black and white. Handheld Night Photography Try


Here is a photo that I shot handheld at night. It’s funny, I have a very cool Manfrotto tripod and recently I did even purchase a cool tripod bag, but yet I am still too lazy to carry the stuff out there to take some cool night photographs. Practicing Night Photography Without Tripod


Today I decided to practice night photography in the city, because I have trouble to take decent night photos without tripod. I could just take my tripod with me, but I still don’t have a decent bag for it, and anyway, I think it should be possible without a tripod in some situations.
