Here is a handheld photo I shot in the evening in Lübeck a while ago. I almost deleted the photo but I changed my mind when I converted the image to black and white. I did that because the colors were dull and the handheld shot was pretty blurry as you can see if you look at the cyclists. But that does somehow look good in black and white, because it’s like the movement of the cyclists becomes visible. I also like the lighting in black and white. You can find other photos on my blog that I shot in the dark.

I think it is great, especially for a handheld shot. The blurry cyclists are fine because it shows a feeling of movement while the rest of the image is sharp.
Afterward, I thought the same too. The movement looks good.
