Schlitzohr Again

Today we wanted to cycle to the garden of my mother and her husband. Basically, so that my grand cousin can play in garden because we have some cool things for her set up but that’s another topic. This post here is more about Schlitzohr again, the cat that sometimes stops by in the garden. She stopped by today too and I haven’t had my camera with me, thus, I took some photos with my phone. I thought I share one with you. The husband of my mother provides cat food and Schlitzohr is thankful as you can see. I … Continue reading Schlitzohr Again

Meet Schlitzohr

The husband of my mother has a garden as I often mentioned on my blog. Ok, it’s basically also her garden but she is more of a good weather gardener while he checks regularly in even in the colder seasons. Basically, because he’s a die-hard gardener, and secondly because he has chickens there that he needs to check for and feed them. During the winter he started to report to me that he saw a little black cat. He knows I like cats and kept me informed. He said the cat looked a little bit slimmed down, thus he started … Continue reading Meet Schlitzohr

Ginger Cat

A week ago I was walking outside with my camera. I haven’t found a lot of things I wanted to take photos of until I saw this beautiful cat. The ginger cat was guarding one of the properties. The cat was uninterested in me and didn’t look into my camera. I eventually tricked the cat by whistling quietly. There was a chance the cat would run away but the photo would have been bad otherwise anyway, so I took the chance. And see, the cat was looking into my camera and I got a nice shot. The photo was pretty … Continue reading Ginger Cat

Black Cat

Apart from the fact that the photo at the top is a close-up shot, I wasn’t very happy with it. The original image was too dark, it was noisy and in some areas blurry and the colors were dull. So, a clear case for black and white editing. It’s a lot better now but still quite a bit noisy.  But the result is not that bad that I would want to delete the photo, thus I show it on my blog. It’s the same cat as the one in this post. Continue reading Black Cat

Outdoor Cat Snapshot

I saw this cat outside but it was a shy one and was running into a hedge. I thought it’s worth it to take a look and saw it again behind the hedge. I took a snapshot with my phone. You see the photo at the top. It’s a beautiful grey or silver tabby with stripes. Even if it’s just a phone photo and not a close-up, you can clearly see that the cat doesn’t trust me at all. Just look at the expression! Continue reading Outdoor Cat Snapshot
