Grandma´s Birthday Tarts and the new Earth Resident

Ok Grandma is now 70 and the whole family met each other today to celebrate her birthday with some tasty tarts. We talked a lot and the day was pretty much fun. I think grandma did enjoy the day too. Love to see it if my grandma is happy. While she got a lot of gifts, a get-together is the biggest present. Spending time with each other and having a good day. This Mouse does explore the Flower Pot

My half-brother does have mouse’s and sometimes he lets them out on the balcony. He did take some photos to send me those. Pretty great if the family provides some interesting photos as well. The photos above are definitely worth to put in my animal category here on the blog. I just can say that it is absolutely funny to watch mouse’s while they are exploring the area around them. A Beautiful Street in Lübeck and a Church

I walked through the historic downtown of Lübeck, like I mentioned yesterday. As Lübeck is a town of the medieval time and as Lübeck was the Queen of the Hanseatic League, you can still see the charm of that time in the architecture today. That´s why we call the old part of the city “Historic Downtown” or in german “Altstadt” here. Above you can see excelent german cuisine. Yes I go so far to call it excelent. Again the husband of my mother did swing the cooking spoon and what you see above is the result. Extremely delicious, really. I still wonder why he never became a cook, I mean jobwise. It´s funny. Because he cooks way better than the cooks of many local restaurants.
