Soap Bubbles Soft Focus
Saw this photo in my library and edited it a bit. It had a soft focus and I usually don’t like that but in this case, it looks very dreamy. I changed the colors a bit too. Continue reading Soap Bubbles Soft Focus

Here is a snapshot I took when I helped my uncle at his home before he died. The dog in the image at the top was called Emmi and it was my uncle’s dog. We don’t have much contact with his narcissist wife anymore, which is great, but it also means that I won’t see the dog anymore. I liked Emmi a lot but I have pictures like this one and memories. Here is another old photo. This one was shot with a Medion camera back then. That was long before I got my first DSLR. I think I experimented a lot with different subjects back then. I wanted to photograph something fresh in this case, I think. Continue reading Lemon Slice
Here is an old snapshot of my cat that I took back then with a potato camera of a very old smartphone. The light conditions haven’t been great and those old cameras couldn’t deal well in these situations. But as photography is also about memories, I really didn’t want to delete the photo. So, it gets a place on my blog too so that I have it stored online as well. Continue reading Old Cat Photo
Here is a street cat I photographed in June 2016. I found the cat while I hiked through some districts in Lübeck. I showed you the same cat already in posts of the past. You can find photos of the same cat here, here and here. Continue reading Street Cat
This photo was shot in May 2016 when I was in Reinfeld. I saw this cat on a farm, which is why I thought it belonged to a farmer. I guess you will agree with me when I say the cat looks battle-scarred. It’s a dirty cat and it has open wounds. Maybe it got into fights with other cats or animals like foxes. Maybe it got infections too but one thing is sure, it appeared sick-looking. Continue reading Farmer’s Cat
