Happy Sheep

Here is a photo that I shot on my way during the last hike. I saw some fields with sheep, but we have lots of them in Northern Germany. I think they have it good for the time of being because the fields are usually very large, that’s why I wrote “Happy Sheep” in the title. I didn’t do a lot of editing except for some tone changes as usual. I did “mute” the green color a bit to make the sheep become a bit more present in the image. Another Beautiful Horse

As promised, I already started to add some of my horse photos to my blog. The photo in this post was shot when I hiked through the Riesebusch area in Bad Schwartau. It is a brown and white horse, but it almost looks like a black and white horse. I saw the horse in this post on a small field together with a beautiful white horse. Golden Hour Cattle

In this post you can see a photo of cattle that I shot during the golden hour. I do really like this animal portrait, because the golden hour colours are cool and I do like the glowing ears and the fur detail. It’s one of those shots that I took out of boredom to take a photo at all, but at home I was surprised how good the photo looked. There was just minimal editing because the original image was already quite good, I just pushed the shadows, clarity and the contrast a bit and decreased the blacks. Chicken Close-Up

I mentioned already a few times that my mother and her husband hold several chickens in their garden. I like the chickens a lot, they are really funny and they have their own big lawn where they will follow you everywhere if they trust you. That’s not only funny and cute, they do also make great photo subjects. I usually photographed them fully but this time I tried to take a close-up photo. I hope you like the picture. Beautiful Duck

Here is a photo that I shot in Bad Oldesloe, they have ponds and rivers too there, and nature reserves. Since you can find ducks almost everywhere, they are not really special photo subjects, but they are still very beautiful. Especially this particular duck is beautiful, the plumage reminds me of tiger or leopard fur, because of the patterns and colours. What I mentioned often too, I like that ducks are slow, you can practice photography, for example experimenting with the manual modes of your camera, and this will build up experience I think. A Horse With Blue Eyes

I noticed that I don’t really have a lot of horse photos on my blog. However, I did take quite a lot of horse photos, especially in Reinfeld. So, I have many horse photos on my hard disk, and I think I should start to upload some of them.
