Here is a photo that I shot last May during a hike through the nature around Reinfeld. I didn’t do a lot of insect photography since I purchased my first DSLR camera. It’s mainly because I don’t own a macro lens, but in some cases it’s also possible to take insect photos with my Tamron 70-300mm lens or with my Nikon 18-105 lens. Bumblebee On A Plant

I shot this photo in the garden. We have a lot of bumblebees in the garden due to all the flowers and plants. It would be a paradise for macro photography. Now I still need to work with the kit lens, it’s not optimal as I can not get very close to insects or flowers, because then I can’t focus anymore.
