My Blogging Concept And The Year 2015 In Review

So Many Raindrops If my blog would be a meadow, and my visitors raindrops, I’d say it rained a lot and the grass grew tall in 2015. My blog was viewed about 800,000 times in 2015 and I’d be surprised if the year 2014 wouldn’t have looked very similar with around 600,000 views. But when I look at the all-time statistics of 1,655,339 page loads, I am very surprised, because I started this blog as an outpost where I can drop some thoughts or where I can share some ideas or content I created, and the numbers are quite crunchy … Continue reading My Blogging Concept And The Year 2015 In Review

Minimalist Field Photo

As I mentioned in earlier posts, here in Reinfeld there are lots of fields and some farms, and by the way, the German word “feld” translates to “field” in English. I shot the photo above during one of my hikes, but I did edit the photo a little bit afterwards. Path To The Nature

Here in Reinfeld where I am now for a while, it does only take me a 10 minutes walk to see the nature. I spotted some interesting places, including interesting paths. Yesterday I saw a woman with a quite big lens, I assume she did use a 300mm or 400mm lens and took pictures of cormorants, but they were too far away for my 105mm lens, and it’s sad to … Continue reading Path To The Nature

Christmas Tree Snapshot

I shot the photo above in front of the town hall of the village where I am right now, as I liked both the town hall and the big Christmas tree. I did roam around in the town with the kids of my uncle, and they liked the Christmas tree too. They laughed at me, because I tried to take close-up pictures of the Christmas tree balls, because it’s a rocket science to take a photo without having my own reflection in the photo, but I got it right at some point. Anyway, I do start to understand where a … Continue reading Christmas Tree Snapshot

Christmas Tree Glitter Ball

If you are still in Christmas fever, here is a photo of a Christmas tree glitter ball. I shot the photo in front of the town hall of the village where I am right now. There is a big Christmas tree in front of the town hall, and I shot some photos of it. I still need to sort out the bad photos, to find the good ones, but Christmas time is busy time, it might upload them a little bit delayed. Continue reading Christmas Tree Glitter Ball
