Duck and Water Reflection

I found this photo in my library and thought it’s a pretty clean close-up shot. I had to push the shadows quite a bit and did other minor adjustments but it was very minimal editing as the RAW file was already pretty good. I am amazed that I haven’t uploaded it earlier, it’s sitting in my library since 2016. But with the number of photos I shot, it’s not a wonder that I skip some for a while. Reinfeld during Winter

Here is a photo that I shot during a Winter in Reinfeld. It’s not the entire town but some houses near the Herrenteich pond, which is frozen and full of snow in the picture. I’ve taken a similar photo when the pond was not frozen but it’s not the same view. I hope you liked the winter picture. I wasn’t too happy with it at first but when I boosted the white colors and after cropping it a little bit better, I thought it looked fantastic. What do you think about the photo? Black Cat

Apart from the fact that the photo at the top is a close-up shot, I wasn’t very happy with it. The original image was too dark, it was noisy and in some areas blurry and the colors were dull. So, a clear case for black and white editing. It’s a lot better now but still quite a bit noisy.  But the result is not that bad that I would want to delete the photo, thus I show it on my blog.
