Springtime is good as we know can shoot some new and more colourful photos. Nature blooms and there are new subjects to discover with our cameras. Today I was in the mood to experiment with my cheap 60 Dollar camera and decided to visit an art supply store as I wanted to find black and white paper. The reason is that I wanted to experiment with backgrounds, or let me say I wanted to use the paper as my photo background when I take photos of objects for example. They did set up an ice skating ground on the market in Lübeck but it´s now unfreezed and liquid. I shot this photo last week. But this week it is already a little bit warmer and you can feel the first sun beams. I would say we didn´t have a hard winter. It was fairly warm for a winter. Soon it´s springtime and this is not too bad because I can start to take new flower photos soon. But as a winter fan, I am a little bit sad that there was not much snow and coldness this winter. I do not dislike winter and snow. But if it takes too long, then people can get annoyed by snow. The public life suffers here at the moment in North Germany. Buses can´t drive everyday and mails won´t arrive everyday. Some people are already pissed about all the snow here. I must admit that I feel a little winter depression at the moment too. My mother and me saw the first growing flowers of 2013 yesterday when we walked through downtown of Lübeck. Apart from the first sunbeams we enjoyed, this is a great sign too that Springtime is on the way. I think we have a lack of Vitamin D already and it is great to know that the weather warms up slowly. Today my mother and me decided to wander through the town center of Lübeck. Most shops are usually closed on sunday but today was sunday opening. We visited several shops. But we went deeper and deeper into the city. We also did eat in the city. I wrote already often here on the blog that the historic downtown of Lübeck is very beautiful.
