Last week a doctor had to remove the stitches which I had in my mouth because of a dental treatment. It was a cold day and I thought it would be good to visit the doctor by foot. I like to walk no matter if it´s cold. I rather think it´s healthy to do so. The doctor is in the inner-city of Lübeck. On the photos you can see this area and the frozen Trave River. I had a lot of things to do yesterday. I had to visit some authorities and also my lawyer. I like to do all that by foot. Really, I do like to walk even very long distances. Today my mother and me decided to wander through the town center of Lübeck. Most shops are usually closed on sunday but today was sunday opening. We visited several shops. But we went deeper and deeper into the city. We also did eat in the city. I wrote already often here on the blog that the historic downtown of Lübeck is very beautiful. I found this Photo of the Trave River in my folders. The Trave River in Lübeck has some great Parks and Footpaths everywhere near the Riverside. It´s great for walking and visiting the nature. This is a Photo of a big and old four-masted Barque called Passat, anchored in the harbour of Travemuende in North Germany near Lübeck. The Ship Passat stays there on her Anchorage all the Year and you can enjoy this beautiful Ship when you walk there. It is a big Ship with the Lenght of 105,4 Meters and Width of 14,4 Meters and a Draft of 7,24 Meters. The Passat has a Displacement of 6.280 t.
