The recent WordPress Photo Challenge does ask us to find our personal favorite photos on our own blogs. They wrote we could pick one, or maybe even many if we want to create a gallery. I thought it’s difficult to pick one favorite from all those photos I uploaded in 2017. That means I decided to create a gallery that contains my personal favorites. Some are photos, others edited on a way that they rather look like digital paintings. I’d say all the photos I uploaded are my favorites, because I make that choice already in Lightroom when I start to edit photos and before I upload them. But if I am really asked to reduce the selection further, here are my personal favorites…

What a superb collection! It is amazing what black and white can do to a picture. That one with the cat being cuddled is my favourite. 🙂
I like black and white effects too, it works for so many things. I can’t even explain why, but there are images where I try out black and white and it’s like “Yep, this works well”. 🙂 I am glad you like the picture of my cat. Sometimes she’s very cuddly 🙂
Yeah, it’s like it just makes the eye focus on the motive way more; as if colours sometime can get in the way. Aw, she does look cuddly 🙂
