AllThingsD is expecting the launch of the iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C or howsoever the new Apple iPhone Product will be called on Sept. 10. AllThingsD is known for very accurate similar statements in the past. The source of the Release Date information is not known which means it might be insider knowhow but it can also be pure speculation as long as Apple did not reveal this information officially.
Recently Apple had to share a big dip in the phone market due to the fact o the growing wave of lower-cost Android devices and due to the heavy competition with the archrival Samsung.
The operating system for the new iPhone will be iOS 7, which has been in testing for quite some time. iOS 7 will have a radical redesign of the look, improved menus, icons and incremental updates like improved notifications, better photo-organizing abilities and more capabilities for developers. The iOS 7 update will also be available for older iPhones, iPads and iPod devices.
There is also speculation what kind of enhancements the new iPhone will have. The usual stuff like camera and processor enhancements have been mentioned very often. But there are also rumors that the new phone might come up with something like a fingerprint sensor.
There are also still rumors about the product price. There are rumors that Apple will release different editions like one cheaper plastic edition of the new iPhone. If so, then this means that Apple is trying to do a move against the Android front. Android devices recently had more success in the market.
Talking about the old Apple devices and the release date of the new iPhone, you can be sure that the older devices will go down $100 or $200 in price if the newer iPhone comes out. This is a price politic Apple is known for in the past.
