EA and DICE seems to invest in new high-performance servers for Battlefield 4 to improve the infrastructure of the game according to their latest blog article.
They found out that the root cause of the “Rubber Bandind” problem was a configuration of certain hardware types related to 64-player matches.
There was a significant amount of server testing as they mention. They wanted to ensure that it is done right.
The servers will be installed this week as they say and should improve the game experience and fix the mentioned issue.
