Ubisoft mentioned earlier that the game will be an open-world first-person shooter as the predecessor Far Cry 3. You will set food on the fictional region called Kyrat in the Himalayas.

The story seems to be that the fictional area Kyrat is ruled by a blond individual that you can see on the cover art but there is not much known about the background of the game yet. But one thing is sure, as always players will be able to discover an exotic place and to work through a new storyline.

Dan Hay, the game’s executive producer of Far Cry 4 said “Following the success of Far Cry 3, we wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise players and exceed fans expectations.” and he also said “Given the unique setting, we feel Far Cry 4 will stand out as a top first-person shooter and we’re eager to reveal more about the game in the coming months.”

That remains to be seen if Far Cry 4 can really offer a unique setting and an interesting story. The players will decide if this is true.
