Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflections

This photo is my entry to the Weekly Photo Challenge Reflection. I usually would say it is a bad image as I shot directly into the direction of the sun but the sun reflection on the water looks somewhat cool as effect. It fits at least to the recent challenge. I took the image when we were on the River in Salem last year. Continue reading Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflections

And Again… Steam Servers Are Down

No joke, the Steam Servers are horrible at the moment. It happens every day that you can´t login to the Steam Cloud with the client and that you get the message “Could not connect to Steam network”. Sometimes it works and later it works not. I am not the only one with the problem. Users on Reddit reported as well that they have issues to log in. It really happens everyday at the moment. I am not sure whats wrong there. Are they constantly under DDoS attack or are the servers too busy to be able to handle the logged … Continue reading And Again… Steam Servers Are Down

Twitter At-Replies Will Be Phased Out Soon.

Vivian Schiller, head of news at Twitter, mentioned during the Newspaper Association of America’s mediaXchange conference, that they work on methods to move the @replies to the background. They do still test different methods but it looks like they would replace it just with the way how it works on Facebook. Instead of using the at-sign to reply to a user, you can use the user names there. This is probably the way how it will work on Twitter soon too. Check out the more detailed news on BuzzFeed. Cats Love Mobile Games Too

Kotaku posted something that got my attention. They shared a video from YouTube where cats play a game called Fruit Ninja on tablets. It is basically a game where you can slice fruits. Agree, that does sound boring but for cats it must be a lot of fun. That´s at least how it looks like… (Edit: I added another interesting video to my post as the old one disappeared) I know there are even mobile games or let me say tablet games, that are specifically developed for cats. Fruit Ninja is not one of these games but I saw other … Continue reading Cats Love Mobile Games Too
