Blizzard revealed the name of the next World of Warcraft expansion, the expansion got the title “Legion”. You can see the cinematic teaser above. A page for World of Warcraft: Legion on battle.net is now live too.
Some mentioned features for the Legion expansions are the following: A complete new area and continent called The Broken Isles will be added to World of Warcraft…
They add a new class, the Demon Hunter. They add customizable weapons that grow in power as you do. class-specific Order Halls and followers will be added. The transmogrification system will be improved as same as the social features of World of Warcraft, and the PvP progression system will be revamped.
With World of Warcraft: Legion the level cap is raised to 110, and you will be able to boost one character immediately to level 100.
Looks like they have a button on the Legion page where you can try to opt-in for the beta, it’s the page where you can set up in what kind of betas you are interested. It’s not sure that you will get closed beta access as they usually invite a limited number of people.
Talking about the release date, there is only speculation at the moment, but quite a lot of people assume that the expansion will be released around December 2015 or January 2016.
