Photography is about the moment, and with bird photography the moment is often very short. I noticed that a lot of photographers do only show perfect images, but for me photography is not only about perfection but as said about the moment and of course about the subject. In this post you can see a photo of a male chaffinch with nuptial plumage. I could only react, in hope that the camera was set right and one second later the bird flew away and I did not get a second chance. The composition after cropping is ok, but I do dislike the branch near the bird as it is distracting from the subject. Anyway, I wanted to show the snapshot, because I do not always get a male chaffinch with nuptial plumage in front of my lens.
