If you want to use the maximum camera distance in WoW, be aware that there will be a change in the Legion Patch 7.1. Previously you had to type “/console cameraDistanceMaxFactor 2.6” into the chat, but with Patch 7.1 the command changed and you will need to type “/console cameraDistanceMaxZoomFactor 2.6” instead, without quotation marks of course. With this console command you can get the maximum camera distance and your game character will be further away. Here again, the different console commands…

Old:

/console cameraDistanceMaxFactor 2.6

New:

/console cameraDistanceMaxZoomFactor 2.6

You need to use the chat command again if you start the game another day again, that means it might make sense to create a macro for the camera distance command.
