Too Friendly Black Cat

Here is cat photo that I shot during my hike five days ago. I walked through an area where people can rent small garden plots, these areas are very common in Germany. When you walk through these areas, it’s not uncommon that you will find cats on the path, because of course, people enjoy their free time in the garden not without their pets. Signs of Spring

As I was hiking two days ago as mentioned on my blog, I also looked for interesting photo subjects on my way. The first signs of spring were visible, I did for example see the first Snowdrops (Galanthus) growing and I had to take photos. The photo in this post was actually shot with my Tamron 70-300 mm lens. I had the tele lens with me because I wanted to photograph deer,  but I can also use this lens to take photos of things like flowers. First Long Hike This Year

Yesterday was a sunny day, and it was expected that the weather would be good today too. Well, today it was not very sunny and still cold, but the weather was good enough to convince me to go for a long hike. Beautiful Porcelain Cat

My grandma has this beautiful porcelain cat lying on her heater. I remember my mother had similar porcelain cats in the past. I’d like to have one of these too as decoration for my living room, but as I have a real cat this would probably not remain as one piece forever (laugh). But a white porcelain cat wouldn’t fit to the colors of my furniture anyway because my cupboards are mainly in walnut or to be more exact in mahogany color.
