The image at the top is basically the result of experimenting with one of my cat photos. As I’ve done a few times recently, I went for the digital painting look again. First I used effects to limit the number of colors in the fur, basically resulting in an almost entirely black cat. But I also did use selections to cut out the cat. I’ve done that because I wondered how it would look like if I would replace the background. I’ve used a photo with clouds but gave it a more red appearance. So, that’s basically how I’ve done it.
