Way Back to Top Form

The image at the top is an older photo of my cat Shyna. But I thought I do a small update about her. As you know, she had a bad day after her surgery as she puked the entire day. I actually thought it wouldn’t be much better the next day because she looked very ill after the surgery. But to my surprise, she was already back to top form the next day. Because on Thursday, there was no saliva at her mouth anymore and she also didn’t puke anymore. But not just that, she also came to me and … Continue reading Way Back to Top Form

Cat on the Roof

Here is a photo that I shot a while ago when I walked through the garden areas. While I sometimes meet the same cats again, I met this one for the first time and I’ve never uploaded a photo of this one. Over time I have learned that cats do like to walk over the roofs of the garden shacks. Sometimes I spotted several of them on the roofs. They do also jump from one roof to the other and so. VHS Cassettes, Chips and Salsa

Here is just a snapshot I took with my phone. I did spend quite a bit of time with my mother the last days as we went through several VHS cassettes that our family recorded. The videos we watched were recorded in the ’80s and ’90s. We went through videos of weddings, holidays, and parties. Man, we had a good laugh because the `80s haircuts make our family … Continue reading VHS Cassettes, Chips and Salsa

Foreground and Background

I think the image at the top was an experimental shot. I could imagine that I liked the dark forest background and that I wanted to find out how the depth of field looks like if I focus on the plants. There is a small meadow in front of the forest. Nothing more to add, it’s not a special photo but I somehow like how the foreground is separated from the background. Continue reading Foreground and Background
