Mouse In The Grass

I love the image above. My mother shot the photo and it is the mouse of my half-brother. My mother has a big plant pot on the balcony full of grass. I think it´s the perfect place to shoot mice photos. She took the photo with her Samsung Galaxy S2 or S3 I think. I really like how the black and white mouse appears on the green grass background. It´s cute! Continue reading Mouse In The Grass

Boredom, A Beach Photo And Photoshop

Above you can see the results of my boredom. I opened one of my beach photos that I didn´t like and tried to make something out of it with Photoshop. I´m not sure about the result but I was at least able to kill my boredom. The photo looks now pretty crazy and maybe it´s overdone but it looks still better compared to the original… The original photo was taken in Travemünde on the Baltic Sea near Lübeck. Weekly Photo Challenge: On Top

For the Weekly Photo Challenge with the motto “On Top” I come up with four images and a gallery. One of the images is very funny because it´s a mouse on the head of my mother’s husband. The other photos are about pigeons that I found outside. One pigeon sits on a sign and then there are two photos with two pigeons on a roof. Here you can see them… Continue reading Weekly Photo Challenge: On Top

Some Minutes of Cat Training

I always wanted to create this video but I dislike video editing or I don´t enjoy it as much as I love to play with other graphic tools. Anyway, I´ve done it now. I mentioned several times that I do practice tricks with my cat and that she is kinda talented but I just have shown you images but not videos. I always wanted to record one of our training sessions. Now I did that and you can see some minutes of our training unit in the following video… In this training session we did practice “sit”, “give me paw”, … Continue reading Some Minutes of Cat Training

Potatoes, Cucumber, String Beans And Fried Eggs

The dish above is also quite tasty. Potatoes, cucumbers, string beans and fried eggs. Again cooked by the husband of my mother. I think I should convince him of creating a blog about German dishes. But he is grown up in East Germany which means he can´t speak English as he learned Russian back at that time. Anyway, he could write the recipes and I could shoot the photos and translate the recipes to english. I am not sure how much people would like to learn cooking German dishes but it could be a blog with a good purpose. I … Continue reading Potatoes, Cucumber, String Beans And Fried Eggs

Trave River, Historic District And Cathedral of Lübeck

I think it´s some time for some other stuff. While I still have many photos of my cat that I want to upload, especially from the new photoshoot, I thought it would be a good idea to upload some different photos I shot over the last weeks. I uploaded several Ladybug photos, flower photos and what not but I shouldn´t forget to bring in some new stuff. Above you can see the Trave River of Lübeck. Behind the river you can see the historic district of Lübeck and the “Dom zu Lübeck” (Cathedral of Lübeck). Lübeck has a lot of … Continue reading Trave River, Historic District And Cathedral of Lübeck
