Fallow Deer


As I said often, I am also interested to upload my old photos that I shot a long time ago before I even owned a DSLR camera. At the top is a photo that I shot in 2012, how time flies. Carrion Crow


Above is a photo that I shot a while ago. I am pretty sure that it is a carrion crow but it could also be a common raven. This is a close-up shot but in 2017 I uploaded a full picture of that crow. We have so many crows in our area at the moment, it’s as if the population exploded. I’ve never seen that much crows. Eurasian Coot


I shot a photo of an Eurasian coot near one of the local ponds. It’s easy to find them here, because there are always some near any pond. I think the photo is not perfectly in focus, but it’s also not too bad. But I find the plants in the background a bit distracting, but you can’t always get it right. Fallen Tree


We sometimes have very stormy seasons in Northern Germany. Definitely not as bad as in some US States or other places with brutal natural force, but weather also got stronger here over the years. We even had tornadoes destroying whole villages, or cutting patterns through forest areas. It’s still happening infrequently, but it isn’t unusual anymore. I’ve seen two tornadoes with my own eyes, but they’ve been small and disappeared. One was visible from our district but disappeared before it could cause any damage.
