Farms And Fields

I still didn’t finish to upload all the photos that I shot during my time in Reinfeld, and I guess I will never finish it. But as mentioned often, I don’t want to forget these photos, they remind me of that time and I liked the place a lot. Also there are times where I don’t want to get out with my camera, it’s that time right now because I am in a lazy mood. This mood can however be used to upload previous photos. In this post you can see a photo that shows the typical landscape in Reinfeld. … Continue reading Farms And Fields

Beautiful White Horse

As promises, my horse category on the blog is starting to fill up. I like horse, they are so peaceful and beautiful to watch, and they make great photo subjects. The photo in this post was shot on the same day when I took this horse portrait. Every horse is beautiful, but white horses really look majestic. I remember that princesses in medieval movies often were on a white horse, I know it’s a cliché, but that’s how it often is in movies. That’s maybe why I associate the horse in the photo with a horse of a princess. I … Continue reading Beautiful White Horse

Tasty Goulash

I visited my mother and her husband yesterday, they were eating and there was still enough leftover and I got a plate too. Of course, when something looks so delicious, I take a photo. I had potatoes, goulash, red cabbage and a tasty sauce on the plate. I’d say this is a very typical German combination. We often eat potatoes, as same as red cabbage and goulash. I am always happy if I can take a photo of tasty looking food, because I am always interested to expand my food category on the blog. Continue reading Tasty Goulash

Tired Kitty

Life is so much better if you don’t have to wear a lampshade, that’s what Shyna probably thought when I removed it from her neck. But she did a good job, because she became used to the lampshade quickly, as same as she was ok with the daily rituals of applying an ointment to her wound. The wounds disappeared and the fur grew back, and it also seems that she doesn’t have itching anymore. So, let’s celebrate this with a new photo of my cat Shyna. We shot the photo yesterday, I saw her lying tired on the couch and … Continue reading Tired Kitty

Another Night Photo From My City

Here is another night photography approach, but I actually shot the photo during the dark autumn evening, not really at night. The photo was taken at the same day when I shot the other one. But this time I don’t show you the front of the historical district, but a scene that I shot directly in this district. As you can see, lot’s of brick stone buildings, and a beautiful cobblestone street, that’s really what our historical district is about, until a hipster architect is at work again to modernize an areas again. But for now, Lübeck still has some … Continue reading Another Night Photo From My City

Weekly Photo Challenge: Tiny

The recent WordPress Photo Challenge is about tiny things. I thought that I use the challenge to show you a butterfly photo that I shot a while ago. I would really like to try this with a real macro lens, but for now I usually had to use my Nikon 18-105mm lens or my Tamron 70-300mm. In this case I shot the photo at 300mm with my tele zoom lens. I’d call that pseudo macro photography. Fun fact, I could basically afford a true 90mm or 100mm macro lens next month, I am just not sure if I should do … Continue reading Weekly Photo Challenge: Tiny
