Tripod Ball Head Has Arrived And Testing A Remote Shutter App

Yesterday I received the Manfrotto 498RC ball head for my tripod. Now I do have everything complete for the tripod. I thought I could need the cheap Nikon ML-L3 wireless remote control shutter release, but I do now have another great solution for remote controlling. There is an app for android smartphones called DslrDashboard on the GooglePlay store. I am android user so that I don’t know if you find the app for iOS as well, but I guess the app is available there too. Vivid Flowers

The recent Weekly Photo Challenge theme is “Vivid”. We have a small flowerbed near the pond in our garden, the flowers are very tiny and I think they really look vivid. The flower bed is not very big but depending on the angle you take photos, it looks like an ocean of flowers, that’s at least what I tried to achieve. Just A New Flower Photo

Today in the morning I found some flowers on my hike through the gardens. You can see one of them in the photo, they look like daisies but I am not really sure if they are. The flower you see in the photo does actually look smaller than I saw them in real. They were much bigger than a usual daisy, especially the stem was quite long with around 20 or 30 cm. I Got The Manfrotto 055XPRO3

I mentioned it some days ago, I asked a local store to order me the Manfrotto 055XPRO3 tripod. Today I got the email that the order arrived and I picked the tripod up. Arrived at home I couldn’t await to unbox the tripod and Shyna was very curious too, as always if I unbox something new. Experimental Kitty Photo In Black And White

This is a photo of Shyna that I shot in the first weeks after purchasing the D7100. I did all kind of test or experimental shots to get used to the camera. The photo was not that good with colours and decided to change the image to black and white. I couldn’t remove the distracting highlights or overexposed areas on the fur, that’s the point when I usually try out black and white and it often works well.
