Cat in Black and White
I just wanted to share this small two picture gallery of my cat Shyna. She always looks great, but her pictures are definitely working with different black and white settings as well. You can find more cat photos on my … Continue reading Cat in Black and White
The Port Edge
Sunday, the day deserved the name because we got more than enough sunbeams. I didn’t want to chill out at home, I wanted to do anything and grabbed my camera bag to go outside. I had no plan and walked … Continue reading The Port Edge
Black And White Cat Again
There are not enough cat photos in the internet. No matter how much there are, there will be never enough. Above is a photo of my cat Shyna that I shot sometime in 2017. The colored photo looked fine, but I was a bit unhappy with the light in the room. The photo was pretty reddish due to the fact that I had my red window blinds shut. I think I would have uploaded the colored version, but somehow it looked much better in black and white. I really love black and white photography. Continue reading Black And White Cat Again
Pony
Here is a photo that I shot last year if I am right. I remember I was hiking somewhere outside of the city and found a very small farm with several ponies. One was curious and came closer to the fence. But with the tele lens I got even closer, so that it turned out like a good horse portrait. I didn’t really edit the photo a lot, it was just a bit dark that day, which is why I increased the exposure level a bit in Lightroom. I hope you like the photo. I have more photos of horses … Continue reading Pony
Black And White Cat
Above is a photo of my cat Shyna again. The original image had a couple of issues, and I disliked the colors in the photo. That’s when I often try out black and white filters. In this case it’s a mix of black and white, and a tiny bit of serpia. She does look a bit grumpy in the photo, does she? I can’t remember, but maybe she was tired or I shot so many photos that she found it annoying (laugh). Continue reading Black And White Cat
Beautiful Sky
I shot the photo above in 2016 and I probably didn’t upload it because I have way too many photos, and I can’t upload them at the same time. The photo was shot at 75mm and I was mainly interested to highlight the sunbeams that come down from the dark clouds. The original did look already pretty good, but I boosted the colors and levels a bit to make the sunbeams even pop out further. I also made the clouds a bit darker. I am pretty happy with the result. I hope you like the picture. Continue reading Beautiful Sky
