I wish you all a happy new year. I just came home a half hour ago. I didn’t do much this year. I celebrated together with my mother, my cousin and her boyfriend. We did listen to music and talked a lot and watched the fireworks at midnight. I didn’t take any photos but found an abstract photo in my library that somehow fits to New Year’s Eve. I hope you had a nice time too. Happy New Year! Continue reading Happy New Year
Above is a photo that I also shot with a cheapo point-and-shoot camera. The camera I used at that time was a Medion Life P43040, which you can see here. The camera had a macro mode, although I personally think it didn’t have a lot to do with macro photography except that you could take close-up photos. With that mode I really got fascinated with close-up photos of flowers but also textures. I really loved textures, especially rusty stuff like in the image above. What I like about rusty metal that makes paint burst, is that it looks pretty abstract … Continue reading Rusty Texture
Here is a photo that I shot in a local mall. It was rather a random shot, but I like how the photo turned out. It’s maybe more abstract, or as said, just random. But I liked how the Christmas decoration was hanging down, and the windows in the background at the ceiling. I actually tested to focus on the lights, but then I did focus on the ceiling and liked it more. I do have a Christmas category since some time, but I never uploaded much photos to it. I can see that this category might be more filled … Continue reading Mall Christmas Decoration
The recent WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge wants us to point our cameras at something familiar to turn it into something else, right, it’s about abstract photography. While I didn’t take an abstract photo recently, I thought I go through my Lightroom library to see if I can participate with any photo I have taken in the past, and I knew I would find a dozen of abstract photos. Sometimes I really try to shoot an abstract scene, but at times I do also get abstract photos due to any errors, like the wrong camera settings. focussing wrong, pressing the shutter … Continue reading Weekly Photo Challenge: Abstract
I shot the two photos a week ago when I tried night photography in the city. At home I thought I had taken photos of a lot of gold bars, I like how it turned out, but it was just wet cobblestone. It was rainy at that night, and the photos of the cobblestone were rather experimental, but I really like the result. Some results are really funny, I like experiments. Continue reading Gold Bars or Cobblestones?
First of all, above you can see an abstract photo that I shot a while ago, I basically shot a photo of LED lights. I uploaded already a similar one when I remember right, I do at least have several photos of the same scene that I didn’t upload yet. But now to the news… Today I did import around 35 posts and 6 drafts from my second blog, the pure tech niche blog. Some of you know how I did struggle with two blogs, there are several posts about the whole issue on my blog. I gave the second … Continue reading Abstract Photo And Some News
