Eurasian Jay In The Forest Near A Pond

Walking near the pond in Reinfeld is interesting, I do always find birds there. Today I went out for a walk again, and apart from different birds, I saw the bird you can see in the photo, the bird is called Eurasian jay (Garrulus glandarius). Running Up A Tree

It seems I shot a photo of an Eurasian treecreeper, that’s at least what I found out during my research and when I compared the results with my photo. I saw this kind of bird quite often since I am in Reinfeld. I usually see them near the pond at the trees, and it almost looks like they run up trees. If my research is right, then it would fit, because the German name for the Eurasian treecreeper is “Waldbaumläufer”, which means something like “Forest Tree Runner”, literally translated. A Pigeon On A Field

Even if you can find pigeons everywhere, I still like to take photos of them, because it’s all about practicing. I believe if I take a lot of photos, I can improve my future work, and to me it doesn’t matter how often you can find a subject, I still like to take pictures of them. Beautiful Yellow Bird

In this post you can see a photo of another bird I found in the mentioned bird station. I saw several signs with explanations of the birds, but I think they had more bird species than signs. So, in this case I can just assume that the bird in the photo is a canary bird. I am sad that I shot the photos in the evening during overcast sky, because I had to use ISO 1600 and that is the reason why the image is so noisy. Cute Chicken

Above you see a photo that shows one of our chickens. Chickens are not the type of animals that are called cute very often, not so often like cats, dogs or other pets, but the more I saw our chickens, the more I thought they do actually look cute too. I like them so much because the sounds they make are funny and when I enter our chicken enclosure, they follow me with each step. I do also like the picture I shot, I hope you do like it too. Bird On The Roof

I saw this bird on my hiking tour through our city when I was trying to find interesting things to photograph. You really get more attentive if you go out often with you camera, I just start to notice more little details.
