Where To Go
Here is one of those cats I spotted a while ago in one of the garden areas. The photo was shot in the moment when the cat wanted to flee. Continue reading Where To Go

A week ago I was walking outside with my camera. I haven’t found a lot of things I wanted to take photos of until I saw this beautiful cat. The ginger cat was guarding one of the properties. The cat was uninterested in me and didn’t look into my camera. I eventually tricked the cat by whistling quietly. There was a chance the cat would run away but the photo would have been bad otherwise anyway, so I took the chance. And see, the cat was looking into my camera and I got a nice shot. The photo was pretty … Continue reading Ginger Cat
I shot the photo at the top today but some of you might already know this cat. Yes, I’ve seen that cat already once. Maybe I am wrong but it looks like the same cat. Today I walked through the garden area again and if this is the same cat, I found it about one kilometer away from the previous place. Talking about my hike today, it was pretty difficult because it was extremely hot today. I’ve walked just fifty percent of my usual distance but was completely exhausted due to the heat. I had water with me but it … Continue reading An Old Friend
I found this grumpy looking cat in my own district. I got the chance to photograph it, but it seems the cat didn’t like it at all. Shortly after I shot the photo, it disappeared in another street. It still baffles me that there are so many black cats in our city. I am glad that I could take other cat photos too, but it’s still something to mention. Continue reading Grumpy Black Cat
I found this tabby cat in my district today. This cat didn’t really want to be photographed and ran into a hedge before I even could take a photo. But I didn’t give up. I know-how shy or cautious cats try to avoid humans. They usually disappear in a hedge and use it to circumvent you. They either leave the hedge on a different side or if not possible due to a wall, they use the full length of the hedge as coverage to gain a distance to you. What that means for the cat photographer is that you need … Continue reading District Cat
At the top is a photo that I shot some weeks ago. It is a silver tabby cat with black stripes and a white chest. I found this cat on a garden plot. The photo was cropped as I couldn’t get very close with my Tamron 70-300mm lens. But the photo is still ok, I think. It’s not a perfect photo but you can’t always get it right as I often say.
