Here is a photo I took in Bad Oldesloe. While the colors of the original looked great, I didn’t like the heavy lens flare. I went through a couple of black and white settings until I found a vintage one that did hide most of the lens flare very well. On top of that, it transformed the photo in a very positive way. The reason why I shot the photo was that I liked the arch of the bridge from my point of view. Together with the housing in the background and the stairs, it just made me want to … Continue reading Footbridge in Bad Oldesloe
Here is a photo that I shot during a Winter in Reinfeld. It’s not the entire town but some houses near the Herrenteich pond, which is frozen and full of snow in the picture. I’ve taken a similar photo when the pond was not frozen but it’s not the same view. I hope you liked the winter picture. I wasn’t too happy with it at first but when I boosted the white colors and after cropping it a little bit better, I thought it looked fantastic. What do you think about the photo? This photo was taken in Bad Oldesloe. Probably not the greatest shot but I still liked the bridge in the foreground and the houses in the background. They have many of those footbridges there and the houses you see in the background show pretty well how the town looks like because that’s how many houses look there. It’s a very beautiful town. Continue reading Bridge and Houses
This photo was shot when I was in Reinfeld. The fields of rape looked gorgeous in full flower. There was also a lot of deer. There have been moments where I didn’t trust my eyes because the head of a dear popped out of the field. But usually, I wasn’t fast enough to take the photo. But these moments were beautiful nonetheless and I really needed those moments because beside them, the reason why I was there was pretty sad as my uncle got terminal ill at that time and died later. I wouldn’t have been a help if I … Continue reading Minimalist Scene
The weather is very good at the moment and it’s getting hotter. I’ve been a bit active outside. I was running every second day, and other days I just went outside to walk a little bit. One day I had my camera with me and I had my 40mm macro lens attached because I wanted to look for bugs, frogs, and other small creatures. But guess what happened? A grey heron did land on a tree directly in front of me. Not worth it to take a photo with a 40mm lens, but damn, I was mad that I didn’t … Continue reading Beautiful Path
