Weekly Photo Challenge: Shine

The recent WordPress Photo Challenge is about light sources that make things visible. I first thought to come up with a photo of a spider web, because most often you can just see them if they are highlighted by the sunshine. Another Beautiful Horse

As promised, I already started to add some of my horse photos to my blog. The photo in this post was shot when I hiked through the Riesebusch area in Bad Schwartau. It is a brown and white horse, but it almost looks like a black and white horse. I saw the horse in this post on a small field together with a beautiful white horse. Golden Hour Cattle

In this post you can see a photo of cattle that I shot during the golden hour. I do really like this animal portrait, because the golden hour colours are cool and I do like the glowing ears and the fur detail. It’s one of those shots that I took out of boredom to take a photo at all, but at home I was surprised how good the photo looked. There was just minimal editing because the original image was already quite good, I just pushed the shadows, clarity and the contrast a bit and decreased the blacks. White Horse

As I mentioned some time ago, there are still not enough horse photos on my blog. While I still have many that I didn’t upload yet, I am always happy if I find new horses and this happened today when I hiked through the Riesebusch in Bad Schwartau. I found two horses on a field located near the forest, and the white horse got my attention right away, as same as the horse noticed me. Tuxedo Beauty

I always like to take photos with my cat, and I think the one I show you with this post is really cool as it is basically a close-up portrait. She likes to hop on chairs, and I have this kitchen chair where she can go all crazy, because it’s just an old one, the fabric is very solid and everything else is metal anyway.
