Me and some friends who own an AMD video card checked out Battlefield 4 with the AMD mantle API. Our first impression is that it is too earlier to play with it. The Reason For AMD´s Mantle Driver Delay

The AMD Mantle driver (AMD Catalyst 14.1 Beta driver) should have been released with the latest Battlefield 4 patch with Mantle support. But the driver was not released on time due to a last-minute delay caused by too late detected driver issues. That´s why AMD did hold back the driver. You better use the beta graphics driver for the BF 4 open beta…

The latest graphics driver of NVIDIA and AMD are not really optimized for Battlefield 4. If you notice strange performance problems even if your system meets the requirements for Battlefield 4 on any settings, then you might want to check out the latest beta drivers for your videocard. In my case it did really boost the performance of the game a lot. But notice that the game is still in beta, which means there is sometimes also serverside lag.
