Beautiful Yellow Bird

In this post you can see a photo of another bird I found in the mentioned bird station. I saw several signs with explanations of the birds, but I think they had more bird species than signs. So, in this case I can just assume that the bird in the photo is a canary bird. I am sad that I shot the photos in the evening during overcast sky, because I had to use ISO 1600 and that is the reason why the image is so noisy. Beautiful Golden Pheasant

Today I walked again through one of the small forests in Reinfeld, and I found a small station where you can watch birds. I actually found this place already a month ago, but it was difficult to take photos with my 18-105mm lens, because the birds are in big cages and I couldn’t get close enough with that lens. Now I have the Tamron 70-300mm lens and this allows me to get closer to all kind of subjects. It Can Be Incredible Hard To Determine Birds

In Reinfeld where I am right now, there are quite a lot of little birds. I shot several photos of small ones, but sometimes it’s incredible hard to determine the birds. Take the photo in this post for example, it was a challenge to find the name, and I am not even sure about it yet. Gathering

The photo above is my entry to the recent photo challenge. I thought I could use one of my bird photos for the theme “gathering”, although I shot the photo by the end of summer. Some photo challenges do remind me to go through the photos which I didn’t upload yet. You can see cormorants in the photo, I found them when I walked through the Schellbruch preserve area outside of our city. I really like cormorants, they are very interesting birds. Beautiful Swan

Last week I decided to grab my camera and went outside to see if I can take some new photos. I didn’t want to walk miles and decided to walk to one of the ponds in our parks. I noticed right away that it’s a little bit more difficult to take decent photos in autumn, especially when it’s so cloudy, but I went back home with some good bird photos.
