Very Beautiful Swan


I am still not in the mood to go hiking, mainly because it was bitter cold outside over the last days. But I was pretty slow with my blog this month, and I really don’t want to get used to the laziness and looked through my photo library to see if I can at least share some older photos. House Sparrow


Here is a photo of a house sparrow that I shot during a hike in Bad Schwartau, a town that is smaller and more rural. I found a lot of sparrows on my way, there are much more in rural areas. I did already take several pictures of sparrows in the past, but this time I am actually not that sure if the bird in the picture is a female or male sparrow. Lonely Robin


Here is a photo of a robin and it always looks like a backlit photograph. The bird and tree branches became so dark because my ISO was set too low for the cloudy day, but in this case I do really love the result, because as said, it looks like a backlight photograph. I expected it would be a robin bird, but to me sure I raised the shadow details for a moment and saw “Yep, it’s a robin” and decreased it again as I wanted to preserve the backlight effect. Walking White Wagtail


I shot so many bird photos when I was in Reinfeld for half a year, that I still didn’t finish to upload them all.
