Cheeky


Here is a photo of my cat Shyna. She looks a bit cheeky on the photo, but in reality my camera was just set to faster shutter speed. She was drinking water, and with the fast shutter speed I could freeze the moment where she showed the tongue. However, I didn’t like the photo in colour since it somehow had a bit too much orange in it, which means I didn’t like the illumination in my room. Below the Autobahn


The Autobahn cuts right through our city and at some points there are bridges that help pedestrians and cyclist to the other side. But in most cases it’s just an underpass and we have several of them. The photo above was shot when I got my first DSLR, and I think I was so amazed that I shot photos of all kind of things, even if it was just an underpass. Street in Lübeck


Above you can see a small alley or street in the historic district of Lübeck. It’s the most interesting district in our city because there you can still find old construction styles. In other words, you find a lot of buildings with brick stone. First I wanted to upload the photo in color, but it was shot in JPG and the image contained overblown highlights so that I decided to convert it to black and white. Somewhere in Thuringia


Here is an old photo that was shot with a phone camera in Thuringia years ago. The husband of my mother has family there. From time to time I do also want to upload some photos were shot with digital cameras or phone cameras, because it’s not just about quality, but also about the scenes or moments. I have a really large library of photos that were shot with smaller cameras or phone integrated cameras.
