My cat Shyna knows quite a lot of tricks. When I shot the photo above, I said “Give me five” but in German. But I wouldn’t be surprised if she can do it if I say it in English. I say that because I taught her a lot of tricks and I noticed that she doesn’t only listen to me, it is also that she looks what my hands are doing. Today I played guitar as I often do but even with the headphones on I noticed that someone was persistently knocking on the door. I hoped that I wouldn’t have a new neighbor that might have heard my bare e-guitar, but that was never a problem since I use headphones and e-guitars are not that loud unless you plug them into an amp. I kid you not, the following was not staged. While I am very accurate with some things in my life, I am sometimes a chaos person too. Currently I don’t have a laundry bin, but even if I would have one, it would just animate me to collect dirty laundry. It’s that time again, I have to push one of Shyna’s photos in front of your eyes again. In this photo she is yawning, I am always happy when I can freeze the time with my camera when she is doing this. She is probably my most photographed subject, I like to take photos of her and can’t stop that. I have already a huge library filled with photos of her. Grooming! It’s so funny when cats do it. They are basically acrobats and can reach every body region except behind the head, but that’s where the human hand is, well, handy. My little cousins grew up with dogs but when they saw my cat the first time, grooming herself, they really laughed and I said “This is funny and cute right?” and they smiled and nodded.
